Prescription Security
Check for Void-Blocked Serial Numbers
Prescription Security is a
Very High Priority at PCScripts and we do all we can to
insure that Printed Prescriptions are as secure as possible. Below are some
things you can look for on the general prescriptions. For Prescriptions printed
in the SECURE mode (Lower Center area of script will say WM: Secure), Click on
the script type below. The half sheet scripts have the script type in the lower
left corner (Old has scrolled corners).

D will tell you what type
of watermark should be seen. There are 11 different graphics or
can be the patients or physicians name. The graphic watermarks are generally in
relation to the mode of dispensing, ie. Tablet,
Injection…
When the prescription has
been copied, the watermark ( C ) will tend to have
jagged edges, patchy spots and even entire sections missing.
Some prescription
also have the words Patient Information in a watermark style along with
the medical symbol. These will both exhibit the same irregularities when
copied.
