Prescription Security Type
Old
The Type Old Prescription provides
many ways of Determining Tampering.
First you will know it is
Secure because of the watermark description.
A – Indicates that the
Watermark is Secure.
B - The total each dose.
This prevents the number to be taken each does from being changed.
C
– The Med and dosage is indicated here,
preventing the dosage from being changes, ie 10mg to
20 mg
D – The total to be
dispensed to the patient. Again preventing the total from being changed
E
– The Watermark will be a list of the medication,
number each dose, doses per day, number of days and total. An addition means of
preventing tampering
F – Patient Information

G – Unless logo has been
customized it will show the medical logo
H
– The Old Style contains scrolled corners that will
allow you to easily spot copying
Copying or changing any of
these will be quite obvious
